Food Pantry
The Food Pantry, developed in 2007, provides Twin Oaks consumers with basic food, clothing and household provisions. Twin Oaks strives to fulfill the basic needs of every Twin Oaks consumer twice a month or in emergency situations with a 3-day food supply.
Help Us Prevent Hunger!
Approximately 90% of Twin Oaks consumers live at or below the poverty level. These consumers often face the dilemma of spending their meager financial resources to purchase the medications which keep them mentally stable or to purchase food.
Our goal is to make sure food doesn’t have to be a choice. Thanks to the generosity of community donors, we offer food assistance to over 200 individuals a month. However, with the downturn of the economy, we constantly struggle to keep our shelves stocked.
