Behind the ‘Umbrella’
“I was honored when I was asked to be in the article. Also a little scared,” Cindi, a Twin Oaks employee featured in a recent Courier Post article explains her experience. “After some thought, I realized that there are so many others that are suffering, especially women, and hiding it and if they don’t reach out for help they will only get worse. Hopefully, someone in need of assistance will have read the article and the services Twin Oaks offers and will have the courage to contact us. I hope I get those calls and direct them to where they are safe and can be healed.”
